Hi! I'm Crissy King. I own and operate Crissy's Colors & Cuts. I am dedicated to providing honest, easy to manage hair services for a regular "wash and go" clientele at an affordable price. That's my dog Auggie, he often joins me at the salon while I'm working since I am a dog friendly establishment. If you are already one of my established clients, please be prepared to schedule your appointment a few days in advance. I only take cash or check as forms of payment. 

I attended Laney College Cosmetology in Oakland from 1998 to 2000 and received my license that September. I have had additional education from TiGi, American Crew, Redken, Aveda, and Goldwell. I use Goldwell Topchic permanent color, Matrix ColorSync for semi-permanents, and Special Effects for "radical" shades. 

I am comfortable with all hair types, from thick and curly to straight and limp, frizzy and wild to silky and fine. I do NOT do perms but I do offer RUSK Str8 Permanent Keratin Straightening services. 

I am located in Suite C at 4168 Piedmont Avenue in Oakland.

I am near the 12, 57 and 51 bus lines, and MacArthur BART. Plenty of space to lock up your bike too!
